About the Broker:
I was that person who was intrigued with big houses at such a young age. Joy rides were driving through communities, dreaming about one day owning a house. Almost 2 decades ago, I chose to get my real estate license. Inspired by the dream and motivated with purpose.
See I worked a full time job right out of high school. I started my family at a young age so really college wasn’t an option for me. I had a fantastic job. A job that provided security, community, paid well, great benefits and ultimately paid the bills. However, I wasn’t fulfilled. I was extremely grateful to have everything I had and was given amazing opportunities but yet couldn’t find the sense of fulfillment that I was striving for.
I chose to get my license while working the full-time. I was working 2 full time jobs, being a wife, a mother, a friend, and everything else in between. It became challenging to give 100% of myself to everything I was doing. While working the 9-5 job, I realized I wasn’t able to attend all the sales meeting, I couldn’t attend all the events, I couldn’t take on too many clients, I couldn’t do many things that I wanted to because my time was so stretched thin. What I learned was due to the level of service I wanted to deliver, real estate as a full-time -part-time wasn’t an option for me.
After 18 years with that employer, I decided to leave the full time job and transition to real estate full time. As a full-time Realtor, I was able to do all the above. I realized, I had no limitations to my income, I didn’t have to ask for time off, I didn’t have a start time or end time; I was FREE. Well let’s not get carried away, LOL. What I just mentioned is true but what I had to learn through trial and error was there wasn’t a boss keeping me accountable, there wasn’t a place to be at a certain time, there wasn’t anyone telling me what I needed to do to make money, there wasn’t anyone pushing me to be better.
I didn’t have anyone showing me how to grow my business. I was my own boss so I had to figure it out. I had to get training, I had to become coach-able, I had to learn how to be a business owner, I had to learn taxes, budgeting, accounting, marketing, negotiating, how to strategize, etc,etc. and so I did! Did that happen over night? Absolutely NOT! Did it happen in a year? NO! Did it happen after 2 years? I honestly can’t remember. What I do know is it was a long time, PERIOD!
After 10 years of being my own boss and learning all the above, I chose the next step of being a Broker. Why? Well I wanted to grow my business, I wanted to be a boss babe with the next title and help other agents be successful. I wanted to inspire agents from my experiences. I wanted to help agents save time, money, and get the training to be successful. So I did.
I started training agents real estate practice, marketing, and how to grow their business, work by referral, and deliver great service. Not only did I train them, I showed them. I wanted them to level-up and provide exceptional service. I found my PASSION. I was not only training this but also working it. I am a producing Broker, meaning I still take care of my clients. I was a leader by example and taking the action I was teaching. And things clicked. I decided to own my branch.
Grateful for the relationships established along the way, I was given the opportunity to own my own branch. Thereafter, I launched my very own signature training program. Training many agents how to be a successful Realtor. I've worked for many great companies. Surround myself with people I love, high vibes, big dreams, and passion to be their absolute best.
As a Broker of Real Estate by Referral, I've created a business I've always envisioned. I created my company with the experiences, training's, personal and business development, coaching, mentorship, and support, I have received with the mindset of supporting those who also are experiencing what I did, who have similar dreams I did, and who want the opportunities I did. I call my company a hybrid because I am able to offer support with the highest level of service in person, over the phone, and virtually. I have designed my company to support those who are full-time or part-time with the desire to be their ultimate best. And, so I did!
In a philosophical sense, I guess I wanted to pay it forward or give the love I have received in a karmic way. The 801 way!
See 801 not only represent the area code that started the State of Utah, but represents so much more. #8 represents positive abundance, -0- represents the journey, #1 represents goals and creating your own realities. Together 801 represents the response in what you’re putting in and/or giving out. When you add them together it equals nine. #9 represents universal love and karmic energy.
My company is not just a place to hang your real estate license. It’s a place of community. We give back to our community. We get involved and participate. It’s a place to grow your business, with broker support who wants the same for you. It’s a place to get trained to be your absolute best with knowledge, experience and confidence. It’s a place to have fun, a place to call home, and a place to be yourself. And so it is!
